For those of you who have been to Convention many times, you will be a dab hand at knowing what to bring.
If this is your first year; here is a list of things you may find helpful.
- A few pairs of trousers and shorts
- A few T-shirts
- Long sleeve tops (summer can be chilly in Cumbria)
- Underwear
- Comfortable shoes and a spare (you may be in them all day and they may get wet)
- Walking boots and socks (if you want to get out on the hills)
- Swimming costume and flip flops (if you want to head to the lake)
- Scarf
- Sunglasses
- Towel x 2
- Toiletries (Toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, deodorant)
- Contact lenses & fluid
- Bible, notebook, pen
- Charger for phone
- Water bottle
- Reusable hot drink cup
- Torch
- Umbrella
- Some people even bring paddleboards for their down time – whatever floats your boat!
The basic rule – the Lake District is known for being a bit wet, however we could also have glorious sunshine. Prepare for both!
