Each day of Keswick Convention can see around 3,000 – 4,000 adults and children on site. We want to keep all those on site, including our volunteers, as safe and secure as possible through out the whole event.
This means there are a number of briefing and training videos we ask ALL our volunteers to complete before coming to Keswick. The aim of this is to help you to be as prepared as possible and know what the safety and security expectations are on site. Completing these in advance of your time in Keswick will be a huge help to your Team Leader and a benefit to those you are serving during your week.
We require all our volunteers to complete various training which will include:
- People, Site plans and Venue guide
- Safeguarding, Radio Protocol and Communications
- Incident Management, Evacuation & Emergency Protocols,
- ACT Anti-Terrorism E-Learning Guide.
- Accessibility at Convention
This will be sent out to you via email.
Training is available below and is to be completed a week before you attend.
Once you have completed the training please tick it off on your Volunteer Portal
